Brandnation’s Sports PR agency team partnered with iconic British bike brand, Raleigh, for a morning of festive fun to showcase the launch of their newly updated children’s bikes ahead of Christmas.
A group of parenting press and influencers braved the weather to take the new bikes for a spin with their children, refusing to allow the drizzle to rain on their parade.
Catering to all levels, Raleigh exhibited the Sherwood and Burner Balance Bikes for beginners, Atom and Molli models for those who needed to build confidence with the safety blanket of stabilisers, and Chic and Zero for the older children who were ready to kick start their adventure unassisted.
Whilst the children were whizzing around on their favourite bikes from the collection, the parenting press and influencers received tips for ensuring their child’s safety, and a step by step guide for choosing the best bikes for their ability.
A recent study commissioned by Raleigh found the most important factor for parents when choosing a bike for their child was safety. Almost 30% of parent’s asked said safety was the most important consideration.
Raleigh create trend-leading bike designs which excite and entice the next generation of kids to get pedalling but the attention to safety and experience remain paramount throughout.
The same study found that just over 70% of parents felt that it was important for their children to test out the bike before buying. Many of the children improved on both their cycling ability and grew leaps and bounds in confidence.
Santa dropped by for a visit, and excitement was instantly in the air. When Santa asked the children what they wanted for Christmas, a Raleigh bike went to the top of their list.
Riding a bike is a lot of fun and great exercise for kids. Engaging parenting press and influencers in the importance of the correct bike for their child provided the perfect platform for Raleigh’s social channel own tags such as #freetheirimagination to encourage little ones to embark on their own cycling adventure with the children’s range.
A bike isn't just a toy that will be played with several times and then discarded. A bike is an adventure, it's freedom, it's the chance to be outdoors.
Move over Chris Hoy, the little ones are coming for you in style!
